I live 10 minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge, I appreciate you calling it that despite it's new name. Most of us locals still call it that. That being said, the Tapp is way further north up the Hudson River. Lol The sound and Hudson can both get pretty gnarly on a windy/stormy day.

Idk how you guys don't like to go fishing.. saving money on food and the fun of all of it is so worth it. I love going out on my boat but it never leaves the dock without rods and some beers. It just goes hand in hand, boats, beers, biddies and bait.

I am envious of all the room you have in your Engine room. I have a 1989 Pace Sportfisher which has plenty of room in the engine compartment but nothing like yours!

The reasons we use Nautical Miles and Knots is because a Nautical Mile is 2,000 yards, 6,000 feet (a statue mile is 5,280' or 1,760 yards). Six minutes is a tenth of an hour it makes it really easy to do time, distance, and speed calculations without a calculator. It's also closer to a kilometer than a Statue Mile. And this is important because the distance from the equator to the pole is 10,000 km (6,215 statue miles, 5,399.6 nautical miles). There are 90 degrees times 60 minutes per degree = 5,400 minutes of latitude between the equator and poles. A Nautical Mile is close enough to considered equal to a minute of latitude. This also makes things a lot easier. I hope that helps.

Love your videos. My late wife and I loved boating when we lived in N. California. We started out with a 1978 28' Chris Craft Catalina. Took about 3 years of off and on refurbishing. We honeymooned on her. Then we bought a 1980 34' full displacement Ka Shing trawler. She had a single Lehman 6 cylinder diesel. Great boat. Finally we bought a 40' Semi displacement trawler. She had twin 210 Cummins. Loved that boat she could turn on a dime with those twins! A few years into that one turned out to be our last when my wife passed with cancer. I'm in Florida now and even though I'm 73 I still miss the boating life. Where the heck did you find this nice boat for $25,000??? Great deal.

I’ve watched your videos in the past and have always enjoyed them. This one is special, however, because of your medical condition issue which I hope is well behind you. As I sit here in Rhode Island Hospital for an unexpected two week visit I saw this video pop up. I don’t normally have time for a two hour video, but I did today. It was great fun to watch. Very well done. It’s hard to put a two hour video together and make it interesting. The change of crew from time to time helped. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks. It was the perfect video for the at the perfect time. I too am a boater/cruiser. I hope to do the intro-coastal next year and cross over to the Bahamas. Thanks again!

Good. Sorry for your drone. The water level 360 video is good. You should be able to move the view around in your editor. Clamp it to a pole and put it up high or low. You need one more camera, one that has a zoom or large sensor for night.

Professionally over the last 30 years predominantly spent my life at sea and it's amazing to never see any clear blue skies anymore. This geoengineering/chemtrails really became a thing. Luckily some States took action and banned it.

Frosty V is a sportfish they really aren't designed to chug at 10knots. They are built to cruise not plow to bow , I wonder if he has calculated his mpg at cruise instead of chugging at 8knts.
